It should be concise and clear, with no ambiguity or exaggerations.

Longer Paragraph Essays – This essay is similar to the five-paragraph. It is based on a single sentence to illustrate its main points. Again, the main argument in this kind of essay is brief and is usually just a couple of sentences. The writer also makes an argument that is powerful to prove their assertion. However, this kind of writing requires the author to employ more words, typically using a lot of descriptive words. Effective essay writing assistance for these kinds of essays requires that the students develop a writing style and a vocabulary.

Personal Essay – Sometimes referred to as an essay on your life. This kind of writing guide enables the writer to write about their personal experiences, and then talk about the central idea. The writer can relate an account of their own life or draw conclusions. The author should not over emphasize the main idea or trivialize the subject. The guide must also show students how to properly structure an essay.

Creative Writing Guide – Sometimes described as a personal narrative, or literature review. This type of essay has a thesis statement as the main idea, and a supporting section in a sequential ordering. It is also referred to as a “discovery piece.” This type of writing guide requires students to be able to think critically. The guide will also help the student develop a sense creativity.

This type of essay has a thesis statement as the main idea, and a supporting section in a chronological sequence. It can be described as an “discovery essay.” This guide will require students to develop a sense imagination. The guide will also help the student learn a critical thinking ability.

Conclusion The conclusion paragraph is usually the final paragraph of an essay. Sometimes, it may even be in the very first paragraph. A conclusion paragraph is usually designed to summarize and criticize the contents of the preceding paragraphs. In the introduction to an essay the paragraph that concludes is employed to formally accept the specific thesis statement or conclude the essay. It is important that the conclusion paragraph conveys the main point as well as the thesis assertion and the reasons for why it is valid.
