China Overtakes US As World Leader in Scientific Research Papers

A new report by the Japan’s Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy confirms that China has overtaken America as the world leader for scientific research papers and studies that have a high impact. China has published more scientific papers than the US and Germany about Papertyper combined. The figures are calculated using averages of annual publications between 2018 and 2020.
